There has been a rise in drug-related crime and anti-social behaviour in recent months in the Castlereagh and Beersbridge Road area
Those living in an East Belfast community have raised concerns regarding increased drug dealing and anti-social behaviour in the area connected to a "Ballymena drug gang".
Speaking to Belfast Live, a resident living in the area said: "The drug problem in this part of East Belfast just seems to be getting worse and worse, and nobody seems to be doing anything at all to deal with the problem. There have also been incidents where prescription drugs have been found lying in the street, with local residents having to clear them in the morning before children went to school.
"The police have been told numerous times about the drug issues but I feel like they just don't want to know about it.
