She's been fined, though
A motorist caught speeding on the same stretch of road five times in six weeks has kept her driving licence. Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court heard Izabella Green was snapped breaking the 30mph limit in Derby Road, Long Eaton, on five separate occasions.
Derbyshire Live reported the case and said that she was not disqualified from driving due to the impact it would have on her work. Magistrates also ordered her to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £50 victim surcharge. In an unrelated case, another Long Eaton resident was in court for driving offences. Daniel Ward, 34, of Ravensdale Avenue, was fined £207 and ordered to pay £90 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with three penalty points for speeding at 57mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 Brian Clough Way, Derby, on February 23 this year.
