A man has been arrested after a bus crash beside Piccadilly Gardens that left a dozen people injured, with one woman currently fighting for her life in hospital.
The major incident sparked a huge emergency services response, as police blocked off the area and white tents were erected within the cordon as a number of casualties were treated at the scene. Police said that a total of 12 people have been injured in the crash, with the others involved currently believed to be in a stable condition with minor injuries.
