A ‘doomsday prepper’ has spent £39,000 building a huge bunker in her home and filling with guns and enough food to last 25 years. She even spent an additional £24,000 in response to the war in Ukraine.
This brings the total that Rowan MacKenzie has spent panic-stockpiling food, weapons, and essentials up to £39,000.
Convinced by conspiracy theories that the apocalypse coming to America very soon, Rowan began stocking up her cupboards 11 years ago, around about the time people started preparing for the end of the world according to the Mayan calendar that never materialised. She shows off her stocked shelves on TikTok, alongside other videos giving advice on being a disaster prepper.
