An underdog at Dogs Trust Leeds Mila recently conquered Ingleborough, one of Yorkshire's three peaks

Dogs Trust Leeds are pleeding with the public to come forward and adopt one of their underdogs, Mila, following a major recent acheivement.

The cherished long-term resident at Leeds Rehoming Centre, embarked on a journey that highlighted her adventurous spirit. Guided by Training and Behaviour Advisor Amy Ross and Rehabilitation Trainer Amy Carlin, Mila covered over five miles and reached an elevation of 723 meters .Her enthusiasm shone as she explored new scents, interacted with fellow trekkers, and revelled in the natural beauty around her.

Mila's journey is a testament to her transformation from a boisterous and anxious dog to a resilient companion. After arriving at the Leeds Rehoming Centre in 2021, she underwent intensive training, nurturing her potential and character. Mila needs a relaxing space, ruling out open plan homes. As she improves her socialising skills, she should be the only pet. Secondary school-aged children confident with energetic dogs are suitable.
