A dog walker has avoided prison after punching a pensioner to the ground when he was challenged over not picking up his pet's waste.
Wint reacted angrily and after exchanging words, he punched Mr McArthur, knocking him over. This upset both the dogs and Lint became entangled in both leads before falling to the ground himself.Preston Crown Court heard that the victim was left with bruising, grazing and swelling and still feels discomfort in one finger more than a year later. Wint was previously in the armed forces but his young adulthood descended into serious crime.
