The dog involved was a Cane Corso A baby boy has been left needing surgery after being bitten by his family’s pet dog. The 10-month-old was attacked on Tuesday morning at a home in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The dog, a Cane Corso X described as being ‘usually loving and affectionate’, attacked the baby while he was with his family and began to cry, YorkshireLive reports.
