ended with Jonas and Suyin getting close and deciding to go on holiday together with Meiying. But since Suyin isn't back and Meiying is, does that mean something dark has happened in the meantime? Or does Li make a surprise return?await if you haven't seen the movie yet.Unfortunately, Li does not reprise her role as Suyin at all and, what's worse, she's not going to in the future either.
In an early scene, it's revealed that Suyin has died in the years between the first movie and the sequel, although it's never expanded on how she died. All we know is that she's gone and Jonas has become a surrogate parent to Meiying, alongside Suyin's brother Jiuming ., she has only appeared in one movie, 2022'sIt's possible that if
