We'll eagerly await details of how the pair will return in next year's 60th anniversary episode – for the 50th anniversary's 'Day of the Doctor' in 2013, the Tenth Doctor joined Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor and John Hurt's War Doctor as several incarnations of The Doctor teamed up to end the Time War, so a possible adventure with Ncuti Gatwa's new Time Lord is an exciting prospect indeed!'s next special premieres in Autumn 2022 on BBC One in the UK.
