Transport for London warns passengers to check before travelling as RMT members strike over pay.
Rail passengers are being warned to expect no services on London's Docklands Light Railway because of a two-day strike starting on Tuesday.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union will walk out on 7 and 8 November in a dispute over pay.Any services that do run will be very limited, TfL warned, starting later and finishing much earlier than normal.Glynn Barton, TfL's chief operating officer, said: "Strikes are bad news for everyone and we continue to work with our operator, KeolisAmey Docklands, to try and resolve the matter and avoid disruption to our customers.
"Our advice for our customers is clear; plan ahead, consider alternative routes, check before you travel and allow extra time to complete your journeys."RMT members have been carrying out an overtime and rest day working ban in pursuit of an improved pay offer.General secretary Mick Lynch called on the company to "stand by its commitments" rather than holding back on the pay uplift that staff deserved.
