Plenty of families will be heading out to celebrate or preparing their homes for the festivities
It's almost Diwali weekend and Yorkshire will be filled with people dressed up, attending parties, and dancing in the streets to celebrate the festival of lights.
The event in Bradford is being held from 11am until 3pm. Yoga classes will run in two sessions, from 12pm and 2 pm. The 45-minute classes are gentle, relaxing, and family-friendly. An organiser said: "Through different yoga postures, we will resemble nature and animals, stretching our bodies like a cat and having some fun trying to do balancing postures."

On Saturday, November 11, a day event at the students union is being hosted with street food and games.
The event, named The Story of Diwali, is a festive show on the story of the festival of lights. It will feature traditional Indian theatre, dance and music.Crazy Beats are hosting a Diwali Bash in Sheffield on Friday, November 17. It will be hosted in Rockingham Street, Sheffield city centre. First release tickets for students are sold out but second student tickets are available for £7.50 for entry before 12am. Non-student tickets are £12. Queue jump and late entry is £12.
