We previously reported that several Glasgow roads had been closed due to a 'major' accident on St Vincent Street involving a pedestrian and a car.The incident took place at around 7.40pm on Thursday, February 2 and as a result, St Vincent Street, Newton Street, Elmbank Street and Elderslie Street were all affected.
St Vincent Street was closed between Pitt Street and Elderslie Street, and St Vincent Street was also shut between Elderslie Street and Elmbank Street. All road closures have now been lifted, however, traffic lights on the affected roads now remain off.It is not believed that temporary traffic lights have been put in place.
