Disgraced serviceman molested woman in her sleep after Valentine's dinner
Thomas Pask, 53, climbed into bed with the sleeping woman and groped her under her clothing in the early hours of February 15. Pask, who volunteers with the Cadets and veterans charities, made it clear to the woman he wanted more than friendship, but she did not agree.
Preston Crown Court heard that the day after the attack the woman was so upset she phoned in sick to work. The following day a colleague noticed she was still upset and asked her what had happened. Patrick Williamson, defending, said Pask has a long history of serving his community. He has been a fundraiser for the Royal British Legion for 30 years and has been a member of Veterans in the Community in Accrington for 10 years.
