Diablo 4 joining Xbox Game Pass 'is not happening,' Blizzard says...
thanks to Blizzard's action-RPG supposedly appearing in a banner on Brazilian payment app PicPay, with an image of the Diablo 4 logo and text saying you could play it with Xbox Game Pass.The banner was swiftly deleted, but that didn't stop it from being shared on social media and the rumor gaining a lot of traction. Eventually, the tweet above caught the attention of Blizzard president Mike Ybarra who stated:"This is not happening.
This is the second time Blizzard has had to come out and quash rumors about Diablo 4 joining Xbox Game Pass. With and millions of players venturing into Sanctuary, it wouldn't make sense for the developer to put the action-RPG into Game Pass. Perhaps we could see it join the service later on if Microsoft eventually acquires Activision Blizzard.
