The local council is assessing if there has been a breach of planning regulations
A developer has released a statement after homes, cars and driveways were damaged by floodwater in Nottinghamshire. Avant Homes had hoped to build 104 homes at the former Lynncroft Primary School site off Garden Road, Eastwood, before permission was refused by Broxtowe Borough Council.
Residents fear thousands of pounds worth of damage has been caused in the community. A number of cars and driveways have been damaged by the flooding, and many homes also have had water flood the ground floor.
