Millie Bright and Keira Walsh have both opened up about their devastation, days after the Lionesses were beaten by Spain in a nail-biting World Cup Final.
Although they’re still being heralded for their success as the first England squad to make the final since 1966, the team have admitted they’re heartbroken by the final result.The 30 year old wrote: “Hurting is an understatement. Don’t have many words right now other than thank you to every single fan that supported us, your love + support is phenomenal.
In the caption, she wrote: “Still hurting and will for a while but with that being said couldn’t be prouder of our journey and to be a part of this team.”
