Rangers and QPR 'explored' summer move for Jamie Shackleton Leeds United academy graduate Jamie Shackleton has been one of the club's leading performers this season after seemingly coming in from the cold after a hit-and-miss loan spell at Millwall last season.
The 23-year-old's versatility has been on full show for Daniel Farke's side, with his latest performances coming at left-back as he looks to revitalise a Leeds career which earlier this summer looked to be coming to a conclusion. Shackleton is in the final year of his deal at the club and reports had suggested that the Whites were ready to move on from him this summer.
And that led to interest during the transfer window from Scottish Premiership side Rangers, plus Leeds' Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers, with The Athletic reporting that both sides 'explored' a deal, but were unable to reach an agreement.Leeds United-linked midfielder set for Turkey move Former Sunderland loan player Edouard Michut was one of several players to be linked with a move to Leeds United in the summer window as the club looked to strengthen their midfield options.
The Frenchman now looks to be closing in on his next move however, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Michut is set to make a move to Turkish side Adana Demirspor. An initial loan is expected, with an option to buy and all parties have a verbal agreement ahead of the signing of official documents, according to Romano.
