A delivery driver caught speeding told police officers that he was in a rush.
The 39-year-old was snared again 20 days later going at almost double the speed limit on the city's M8.Bashir - who has four points on his licence - pleaded guilty today to two charges of careless driving.
Prosecutor Kirsty Stewart said:"The vehicle was travelling at excessive speed on the carriageway, overtaking vehicles."Officers stopped Bashir who said 'I was in a rush'."Officers estimated that Bashir was driving at 90mph in a 50 zone.
