The child killer has indicated that she will not be attending court for her sentencing hearing
Nurse Lucy Letby is facing a long stint behind bars after she was found guilty of murdering seven babies at the hospital she worked at.
The 33-year-old was convicted by a jury following a 10-month trial in Manchester. Letby was found guilty of the murder of seven babies and the attempted murder of six more.The sickening attacks took place while she was on shift at the neonatal unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital in Cheshire between 2015 and 2016.
Letby has also indicated she does not wish to follow Monday’s sentencing hearing via videolink from prison, Manchester Crown Court heard. The reasons for her non-attendance have not yet been disclosed by the judge.
