The Football Association is investigating reports former AFC Wimbledon managing director Danny Macklin - who left his role at the club earlier this month - made sexist and abusive remarks about a female colleague.
It follows a report by The Times on Monday which alleged Macklin had been secretly recorded in his office making the offensive comments. An FA spokesperson said on Tuesday:"We are aware of the reports about the conduct of the former managing director of AFC Wimbledon, and we will investigate them."In that statement, the club shared their appreciation for his"hard work" and wished him all the best for the future.
