Dan Levy has officially made his Met Gala red-carpet debut, and, as expected, the “Schitt’s Creek” creator, writer and star did not disappoint: His eccentric ensemble is not only breath-taking, but celebrates the LGBTQ+ community — past, present, and future.
Levy and Anderson worked together to create the comedian’s Met Gala look, utilising the artwork of artist and AIDS activist David Wojnarowicz, whose work often referenced his political activism and personal struggle with AIDS., 1990–91 — Levy told Vanity Fair they hoped to express the artist’s motifs of lauding “queer love and queer visibility” while simultaneously reiterating that “there’s a lot more that needs to be done.
