Adam White has had health issues since the death of son Hunter
A dad has spoken of his sadness more than three years after his son died after he slipped down the side of the sofa when in his care. Adam White, a plumber and driver, was sentenced last May.
The father-of-five spoke to Nottinghamshire Live as he attended a hearing to remove the unpaid work requirement of his sentence for health reasons. But the judge ordered that the unpaid work continue. Of his son's death, he said: "I'm still sad. It controls my life - something I am not going to get over. I will never completely deal with it. I have got to get on with my life and move forward. I'm turning my life around".
Hunter fell down the side of the settee and was unable to breathe and died on July 10, 2020. White previously told Nottinghamshire Live, Hunter was a "beautiful little baby...just his dad let him down, didn't he? I have five kids. I remember it all but I don't want to talk about it.
