The former coach driver added:"I used to carry a photograph on the dash of the bus and passengers getting off, who were on holiday, would say ‘that is that wee lassie who went missing’.“They hadn’t found her at that time.”
Mr Hamilton has begged prison chiefs to give him the monster’s ashes - so he can flush them down the toilet. Michael’s local councillor Alan Nimmo contacted the Scottish Prison Service on his behalf but he said it was “very unlikely” his wish would be granted.
