Residents in the village of Danderhall have gathered outside the home nearly every night to demand the beast be removed from the community by authorities since Monday, October 3.
Da Vinci rapist Robert Greens is believed to have been moved out of a house in Midlothian after almost two weeks of protests from angry residents.
A source told the Record: "He has been moved. We didn't see him, but the moving van and a few people in a car came today with the things and bolted the door and boarded up the windows. It's a big relief." At the High Court in Edinburgh in December 2005, Greens admitted dragging her along the ground, sitting on her, threatening her with a knife and asking if she was a virgin. He then repeatedly struck her on the face and raped her.
A trio of local Councillors representing the Danderhall community, had also called for the offender’s relocation earlier this month.
