Glasgow cyclist killed after being struck by car that was later found on fire

A cyclist killed in a crash in Loughborough, Leicestershire has been named as Glasgow man Anthony Smith.

The 47-year-old was found with serious injuries at around 8pm on Friday when emergency services rushed to the scene and tragically died at the scene. Following enquiries, a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and a 40-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
