A cyclist has died after a crash on a major road inThe man was crossing a busy three-lane ring road in the city centre when his bicycle was involved in a collision with a car shortly after 2pm yesterday.Despite their best efforts, he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers taped off the entire stretch of road where the smash happened while investigations were carried out. A blue forensic tent was also erected close to the traffic lights at Haden Circus roundabout, near Birmingham Central Mosque. Two ambulances, a trauma doctor, critical care paramedic and air ambulance car attended the incident alongside paramedics.West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed it was called to the collision involving a car and cyclist at 2.08pm.
