Things didn't quite go to plan
A live segment on This Morning from the Crufts dog show was ruined by a "grumpy judge" and a disobedient pooch with a toothbrush. The scenes at the iconic international event stunned ITV viewers, with one dryly tweeting: "Well this segment on dogs isn’t going to plan."
Dr Scott said: "We're getting into a bit of trouble here. We are at Crufts after all... We're getting in a little bit of trouble" as he and the guest awkwardly shuffled out of the way. A brief cut back to the studio showed Phil and his co-host with their mouths open as they watched it unfold from the sofa, where they were sat with Holly's dog Bailey.
The presenter then apologised to people behind him as he tried to resume the interview, which had been interrupted just as the guest was about to demonstrate an "ultrasonic dog toothbrush". But a dog then refused to allow her teeth to be brushed, forcing Dr Scott to move on to some other canines after several failed attempts.
On Twitter, Beau wrote: "Well this segment on dogs isn’t going to plan" with a crying laughing emoji. Becky tweeted: "Omg that grumpy judge at #crufts! Shameful! All #ThisMorning was trying to do was promoting the event."
