Crowds braved the wind and rain to catch a glimpse of Princess Anne as she visited Carrickfergus
on Wednesday.
On her visit to the town hall, Princess Anne also attended a ceremonial event to mark the 80th anniversary of the Sea Cadets in Northern Ireland.The late Queen's daughter has been a Patron for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity since 2007.In a tweet, he said: "Delighted to attend 80th anniversary celebration of Sea Cadets in Northern Ireland with principal guest Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal , in my capacity as honorary President of Belfast Eagle Sea Cadets.
"I follow the Royals so it was good to see her in Carrickfergus, especially when we had William and Kate here last month."
