A popular animal sanctuary forced to close last month after its lease expired has sold off all its equipment.
Scotty’s Donkeys & Animal Park had been based at Apley Estate near Shifnal for 10 years but had ot close its doors for the last time on September 3.
But Halls Livestock and Machinery Sales, which arranged the auction, said a large crowd braved the rain to come and support Scotty’s Donkeys & Animal Park’s at the dispersal auction on Friday. Halls senior auctioneer Jonny Dymond, said there was no shortage of bidders for the diverse lots on offer.
