He failed to return back to prison after his release on Saturday
Sean Megaw is currently in police detention after failing to return to prison after being released on Saturday to attend a funeral.
Police made an appeal to find information on the 35-year-old, who was sentenced for attempted grievous bodily harm with intent this year, whereabouts on Monday morning.A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Unlawfully at large prisoner Sean Megaw has today, Monday August 28, been arrested and is in police detention.
"The 35-year-old, who was sentenced for attempted GBH with intent in 2023, was on compassionate release from prison to attend a funeral on Saturday, 26th August.
