A bounty is said to have been placed on the heads of the masked thugs who rammed a car into the Glasgow home of feared underworld figure Steven "Bonzo" Daniel. Two brothers are believed to be behind the attack on the £340,000 villa, which is owned by Daniel's partner Avril Connell.
High-ranking members of the Daniel clan are understood to have now put up a four-figure sum for information on the whereabouts of the brothers. Bonzo, who is also known as Steven Peebles, suffered grotesque facial wounds after being attacked with a machete following a high-speed car chase in May 2017 after a wave of violence between the Lyons and Daniel families erupted the previous December.
