Follow the latest developments after Friday's explosion in Creeslough which killed 10 people
Vigils have been held to remember the 10 people who died in a huge explosion in Creeslough, County DonegalEmergency services have been talking about the massive effort to pull people from the rubbleAll times stated are UKPaul Harper, from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service , told Good Morning Ulster about the cross-border rescue efforts that took place.
He said:"We received a call for assistance at approximately 5pm on Friday following reports of an explosion and collapsed structure and we've now the devastating images and testimony that first responding crews faced." The NIFRS sent a specialist rescue team from Belfast and a command support unit from Strabane and Kilrea.
"This was very much about a cross-border, multi-agency response, but responding to our neighbours who we know so well and continue to respond with," he added.
