The footage was taken on The Shambles, a historic street in York which features preserved mediaeval buildings, some dating back as far as the 14th century.
Creepy footage shared from an ancient city centre shows a bike cycling itself down one of the streets.
It is narrow, with many timber-framed buildings with jettied floors that overhang the street by several feet. York is one of the oldest cities in England, dating back to 71AD and the Roman Empire. It then hits a kerb, stops and stands up perfectly. It then tips over before falling onto the ground with not a person in sight.
Mark Graham, who leads the Original Ghost Walk of York, told MailOnline: 'There's quite a few stories around the Shambles area - doors that open and close into a different time, houses that disappear. I'll never forget that bicycle.
