Fans of a fake sign to the fictitious Llandegley International Airport are trying to raise money to enable it to be reinstated after the owner decided it was too costly to maintain.

However, the road to Terminals 1 and 3 of the supposed airport leads only to a field on the outskirts of the village. He now hopes that Facebook fans, known as the Frequent Flyers, will manage to raise £8,000 through crowd-funding so that the sign can be reinstated.
