All lanes have re-opened
in north Nottinghamshire partially closed the road this morning . The collision has taken place on the M1 southbound between Junction 31 and Junction 30.
One lane was closed and has now re-opened, but delays continue. Normal traffic conditions resumed at around 12.30pm. Those travelling southbound today were advised to allow extra time for their journey. The nature of the incident or the number of vehicles involved is unknown. In an initial statement, Motorway Cameras said: "There is one of four lanes closed. Normal traffic conditions are expected between 12.45pm and 1pm on August 26 2023."
However, the incident was cleared sooner than expected. All lanes have now re-opened and traffic has returned to normal following the collision.
