EXCLUSIVE: Louise Slorance accused the SNP Government of a 'total disregard' for her late husband's 'life and work' by playing 'fast and loose' with information he produced.

A Covid hero’s widow claims her late husband’s laptop and phone could contain missing pandemic messages from top Scottish Government figures.

Now Louise Slorance, whose husband Andrew helped co-ordinate the Scottish Government’s covid response before his death in 2020, believes his old work computer could contain key information for the covid inquiry. She said: “The voices of the dead must be heard and the duty to learn lessons seen. There is no place for secrecy.

Speaking to the Record, Louise said she does not have the password for the laptop she believes is crucial to the Inquiry and claimed his phone is also vitally important. “His work mobile could provide insight into that type of chat. Returned in early 2022, the public inquiries were already known. SG must stop delaying and answer my questions - what happened to the mobile, how was its data stored and recorded and has the data been submitted to the 2 inquiries?"

She said: “All I and other vulnerable and bereaved people have asked for is openness and transparency from those who made the decisions that affected us all.” Labour MSP Jackie Baillie said: "Louise Slorance and the other families affected have been left in the dark by this SNP cover-up.
