COVID-19: Cases of Indian coronavirus variant in UK rise by 5,472 since last week to more than 12,000Patients with a blood cancer or a blood disorder are immunocompromised and more vulnerable to COVID-19, with studies finding 34% of blood cancer patients who contracted the virus did not survive.
