A couple who spent £6,000 to avoid a stint in a quarantine hotel when returning to the UK from South Africa caught Covid as they travelled through seven countries in a bid to avoid isolation.The pair, who said they were "frightened" of being forced to quarantine in a UK hotel room, ended up catching Covid during their journey, reports Birmingham Live.
