'It's the stress and inconvenience that goes alongside of it'
A couple who were due to fly from Manchester Airport to their wedding in Italy had their flight cancelled amid the air traffic control disruption.
Adam added: "We had six other people who were going to travel with us yesterday, four were able to arrange flights from Birmingham today rather than Manchester and two are due to fly with us on Wednesday. There was quite a lot of panic at the airport when flights were being cancelled and everyone was trying to rebook what they could find as quickly as they could find it to get to different places.
Adam added: ""We've lost money on taxis that were due to pick us up, going from Milan rather than Verona is 300 euros in a taxi. People have hotels booked for the wedding and are being charged by the accomodation, there's significant costs.
