The soap star spoke to the ECHO as he visited the city for a premiere
The 36-year-old is renowned for his role as Gary Windass on the long-running soap. The actor first joined the show in 2008 and has been a key part of the cast through some of the show's most dramatic storylines.
He laughed: "I actually spent last week dressed as Frankenstein so that probably gives a little bit away." The soap's major storyline is Stephen's reign of terror as the serial killer's wreaks havoc on the Cobbles.
