Where will things lead for Dee-Dee and Joel?
The actress, who’s first scenes aired last year, picked up the Best Newcomer award at the ceremony, something she was thrilled to receive.‘I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, when you join the cast the same year as Jodie Prenger [who plays Glenda Shuttleworth], I was not expecting to walk away with this! Since her arrival, Dee-Dee has largely been focused on helping other Weatherfield residents. Her first storyline saw her prove that Stu was wrongly imprisoned for murder but recently, Dee-Dee stepped into the spotlight for a storyline of her own.
