Coronation Street star Darren Morfitt recently joined the cobbles as Dom Everett, the estranged father of Eliza Woodrow with protective grandfather, Stu Carpenter, left wary over the newcomer.
However, as Eliza and Dom have been getting closer, Stu has been unsure of the impact he has been having on Eliza.Early life and career Brought up in Hartlepool, a seaside and port town in County Durham, Darren was a studious teenager as he finished his A-Levels. Soon after graduating from Mountview theatre school, Darren landed his first major TV role in Dream Team, which was a football drama series.
Family life Darren keeps his family life relatively private but what we do know is the well-renowned actor is actually married to actress Helen Latham, 47, who is best known for her role in Footballers' Wives as Lucy Milligan.The couple first met at Darren's theatre school Mountview in 1995 and by 2004, they tied the knot among close friends and family.
