The best and brightest stars in Soapland were out in force on Saturday evening as they prepared to battle it out at the British Soap Awards 2023 at the Lowry theatre in Manchester
While many of this year’s categories have been selected by judges, a handful of the categories, including Best Leading Performer, Villain of the Year, Best Young Performer and Best British Soap have all been selected by viewers at home.
While the ceremony itself won’t be broadcast to the public until Tuesday 6th June at 8pm on ITV1, we’ve rounded up the best snaps from the red carpet in the handy gallery below. Newly announced Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney stole the show with her mermaid style coral gown that channelled some serious Hollywood glamour.
