Coronation Street icon Sue Nicholls has sparked fears for Audrey Roberts’ safety as she confronts her serial killer son Stephen Reid tonight.
The news comes as a shock to Audrey, who has never doubted her golden boy son, and Sue, 79, confirmed this as she said of her character: “She hasn’t had any doubts about him at all, that is what is so hard for her hearing all these things that he has supposedly done. Sue has also revealed what happens when she goes to confront her son: “She arrives at the flat to confront him about the house money and discovers Stephen and Peter arguing, and Peter has clearly attacked Stephen.
Stephen turns on Audrey, but she decides to block him from leaving the flat, unaware of the danger she is putting herself in.
