One of the most recognisable parts of the Street is in jeopardy - again
Coronation Street has revolved around the Rover's Return since the start, but in soapland nothing is sacred. With Weatherfield's residents facing personal troubles every day, on Friday the unthinkable has finally raised its head.
Thrown into panic, Ronnie told Ed that he was having second thoughts about the new project and that he thought they should pull out, but Ed wouldn't hear of it. When Ronnie heard Henry telling the Rovers staff that his dad intended to sell the brewery but he was doing everything he could to stop it, he caught him outside and urged him to accept Waterfords' offer.Henry pointed out that he never mentioned Waterfords and demanded to know where Ronnie got his information.
Phil Swales @FillsWhales called it, saying: "Pub problems again. Yawn. We all know the Rovers is going nowhere. #corrie."
