Latest Nottingham Forest news as Steve Cooper's Reds draw 1-1 with Brentford in Premier League clash
Head coach Steve Cooper admitted Nottingham Forest’s 1-1 draw with Brentford showed they still “have work to do” as they look to push on in the Premier League.
Forest saw plenty of the ball in the opening 45 minutes and put together some nice passing moves, but they didn’t create many clearcut chances. Christian Norgaard then put the Bees in front from the free-kick conceded by Niakhate for his second yellow card, but Nicolas Dominguez headed in a Harry Toffolo cross to ensure the hosts had something to show for their efforts.
“We had one or two moments, but there was a real opportunity to be creative and threatening - and we didn’t manage to do that. It’s been a little bit of a theme, with the second half against Manchester City and the start and end of the game against Burnley. We definitely want to create more chances when we play that type of football.
