David Dennis has had enough after more than a year of dealing with mould in his home
After more than two months in hospital following triple bypass heart surgery, David Dennis arrived home to the familiar site of damp and mould in his home.
“It’s not livable,” David added. “I have water beneath the floorboards, it is horrible. All you have to do is lift the floorboards and you can see all this water.” "The housing association just say I need to spray it with a cleaner. My mum wanted me to come home because it is so bad. I just want to live my life and recover from my surgery. Going into winter I am worried it is going to get even worse.
Nigel Sedman, Executive Director of Homes at ForHousing said: “We take the health and safety of our tenants very seriously, so we’re really sorry for the damp and mould at Mr Dennis’ home and we’ve been working hard to resolve this.
