Colour your hair a ‘pumpkin spice’ copper or auburn at home from £6 🎃
If you’ve scrolled through Instagram or TikTok this month, you’ve likely noticed red hair is having something of a resurgence. Blondes are ditching their summer hues for “cosy” autumnal coppers and burnt oranges which they claim work way better with their skin tones.
“Reflecting the warm hues of pumpkin spiced lattes and autumn leaves, it’s no wonder salons are seeing an influx of requests for auburn and rust shades,” explains Tyler Moore, expert stylist at Live True London. As for the maintenance involved with the colour: “Red tones can be more high maintenance than other colours as they can fade quickly. This can be prevented by washing the hair less and/or introducing copper toned hair masks to keep the colour fresh,” adds Tyler.
