The Lioness' secured their place in the final after a 3-1 win victory on Wednesday night
Coleen Nolan has taken a swipe at Prince William after discussing the upcoming Women's World Cup final.In 2006, Prince William was named the President-Designate of The Football Association and since then has been at lots of different football matches including the Lioness' Euro 2022 victory. As the footballers gear up for their next game, Loose Women star Coleen has questioned why the royal won't be there.
"The only thing I care about is, I just think if it was the men’s final he would be there. I definitely think he would be there.Just a few hours after the game ended, it was confirmed Prince William wouldn't be flying to Australia to see the match. It is said that the Price is currently on a summer break and won't be travelling to Australia because it would involve flying across the world for a very short period of time, reports The Metro.
However, he did throw his support behind the team, with a message from his and Kate Middleton’s joint social media pages read: "What a phenomenal performance from the @Lionesses – on to the final! Commiserations to @TheMatildas, you’ve played brilliantly and been fantastic co-hosts of this World Cup."
