Claire competed in the W45 87kg+ class at the recent championships in Poland where she broke the record."Back then I was recovering from an injury and couldn't do a Clean and Jerk so I have been chasing it ever since.""I have been chasing it for a couple of years. I had tried to break it last year when I was in Poland for the European Championships and missed it.
"You can only break the record at either the European or World Championships and we hosted the European Masters Championships in Waterford back in May.
